Dear customer,
It is good that you have had some success with the hidrex with direct current.
As we state on all our pages, we really believe that a pulsed current device makes more sense for everyone, you can drive much higher currents with pulsed and get the same intensity for the therapy feeling :
Direct current can lead to low iontophoresis therrapy currents. As a matter of fact, this increases treatment times or frequency, or leads to no success because one cannot achieve the currents you need to get initially dry.
Low currents must to be compensated with longer treatments.

The hidrex does not switch the polarity, there is no need for this and it does not make sense.
You can compensate for the things you described really simply by following our routines.

Hello,
I just recently bought the hidrex400 I used it for about 10 sessions 20min/20v...I noticed my left hand to be better treated than the right hand which still sweats a little bit. What can be the cause of this? What should I do now?
Also how does the polarity work for hidrex400. Does it automatically switch halfway/every 15 seconds/etc?
